Friendship Group Meeting on Saturday 14 July

 

Jersey Alzheimer’s Association Friendship Group is for carers of people with dementia. It is an informal and relaxed group and you may come and go as you please and will always be assured of a warm welcome.

Care is available for people with dementia at our Saturday Club which is based at Sandybrook Day Centre, St Peter. Please contact Pat Hampson, Manager of Saturday Club, for further details: 07829 700099.

Meetings are a mixture of talks on chosen topics held at Sandybrook between 10am and 12noon, and lunch at different venues between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

The next Friendship Group Meeting is on Saturday 14 July at Sandybrook Day Centre from 10am to 12 noon when Michala Graham of JAA will talk about suitable activities to engage and inspire people with dementia in the summer months. 

We will also have representatives from Beachability (www.beachability.org) and Wetwheels (www.wetwheels.je) at the Meeting to talk about their work. 

Coffee/tea with croissants and pastries will be served soon after the start of the Meeting. 

NB When Friendship Group is based at Sandybrook please kindly use the large car park at the rear of the complex of buildings, accessed just beyond the main entrance to Sandybrook Day Centre off Rue du Craslin.

13 October: RECHARGER DAY - see below, 10 November and 8 December.
